Fully boarded gates

To craft a fully boarded gate, builders first assemble a heavy-duty rectangular frame using mortise and tenon joints for maximum rigidity.
Thick tongue-and-groove boards are then slotted vertically into the frame, leaving no gaps for total privacy. This solid construction prevents sagging and provides a robust barrier. Finally, the gate is sanded, treated with weatherproofing sealant, and fitted with heavy-duty galvanized steel hinges.

5 and 6 bar gates

To craft traditional 5 and 6 bar gates, we select the finest durable timber like pressure-treated softwood or oak.
The framework consists of a thick hanging stile and a tapered top rail for weight balance. Horizontal rails are mortised into the stiles, secured with a diagonal cross-brace to prevent sagging over time. Finally, the assembly is bolted together, planed smooth, and fitted with adjustable galvanized steel eye-bolts.

Spindle top gates

To craft a spindle top gate, we first construct a solid timber frame featuring a robust middle rail.
Below this rail, tongue-and-groove boards are slotted in for privacy. Above, evenly spaced vertical spindles are mortised into the top and middle rails, creating an open, decorative aesthetic. Finally, the assembly is sanded, weather-treated, and fitted with heavy-duty galvanized hinges to ensure long-term durability and smooth operation
